Ancient Egyptian Beekeeping with Professor Gene Kritsky
Tuesday 1st November 2022In a fascinating talk combining Prof Kritsky’s passion for bees and Egyptology, he will unravel the mysteries of ancient Egyptian beekeeping as he discusses his book ‘The Tears of Re’. Prof Kritsky is the dean of Behavioural and Natural Sciences and Professor of the Department of Biology at Mount St. Joseph University, Ohio. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. in Entomology from the University of Illinois, as well as a B.A. in Biology from Indiana University. Professor Kritsky serves as editor of American Entomologist and has published several books and more than 100 papers on insect evolution, beekeeping history, egyptology, and Charles Darwin.
