Young Beekeepers

Scotland’s Young Beekeepers

Scottish Young Beekeepers

Scotland has a thriving community of Young Beekeepers, including a World Champion Beekeeper! If you’re under 18 and looking to get into beekeeping in Scotland, then you’ve come to the right place!

There’s several ways to find out more about beekeeping and the fascinating world of honeybees, you could get in touch with one of our local affiliated beekeeping associations and join in with their beginners’ courses or members’ meetings you can even study for our Junior Beekeeping Certificate, or why not ask if your school runs a bee club or if you’re at secondary school they may already be teaching the National Progression Award in Beekeeping. Did you know you can also do it as part of your Skills Award for the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme?

If you’d like to get in touch with our Young Beekeeper’s Trustee please email
