This year The International Meeting of Young Beekeepers, IMYB 2026 will be held just across the water in Belfast on the 4th to 8th of July!

We’re delighted to announce Team Scotland, they are Boyd from Dalbeattie, Lameece from Dumfries and both members of South of Scotland Beekeepers’ Association and Leah from Lanark and a member of Lanarkshire Beekeepers’ Association. For more info, please visit the News pages.

For IMYB Young Beekeepers need to be over 12 years old and under 18years at the date of the competition. They need to live in Scotland, be SBA members and have passed the SBA Basic Beekeeping or Young Beekeeper Certificate, or who will take either exam in the summer, or who hold a similar beekeeping qualification.
