Making the Move into Bee Farming

These free training days are for members of the Bee Farmers Association wishing to launch or re-launch their business or beekeepers looking to make the move towards professional bee farming.

It covers the practical issues affecting bee farming on a larger scale, as well as information on setting up a business, marketing and branding products, keeping accurate accounts, running a business and writing a business plan. 

Subsidised by the Scottish Rural Development Programme, Farm Advisory Service, attendees will learn how to plan and grow their business at a pace that suits them. 

Lead tutor is Bee Farmer member Tony Harris, NDB assisted by Ann Chilcott, both Scottish Expert Beemasters.
